Visual art

This page indexes what little proof of my visual art skills (or lack of) I have uploaded. As well as with all the other parts, I'll be expanding this as time rolls on. Hopefully.

I have set up shop on my old deviantART account again, and will post my work there. I think the benefits of being there overweight the feeling of accomplishment for getting stuff up here where not many people will see them anyway.

Comics

I've been drawing a lot of different kinds of comics for a long time, some progressing quite far and others just spanning a few panels or strips.

Pallomahat/Bloborama

Currently I have just one style of drawing in use which pictates the life an times of more or less random stick figures. Most of the comics are just one panel with a tagline and so far everything has been drawn digitally using just the simplest of paint programs and a mouse.

I call my drawing style of such a character "Pallomaha" (of which "Pallomahat" is a plural form) which means "ball belly" since they are not genuine stickmen. In English I refer to the style as Bloborama since, well, I have to have an English term so I don't have to explain it every time. Or something.

Drawing

I have been pencil drawing for as long as I can remember, and I still do it occasionally. Some of the more succesful results of this can be found on my deviantART page.

Digital drawing is a newer techinque for me, and since I lack a tablet it's quite a slow process and happens even less than traditional pencil drawing. I have made game graphics however, with varying success and despite lacking the ability to see colour completely I do not fear to fire up a paint program and go rumble about the colour picker.

Photography

I like photographing, but I rarely find the motivation to just pick up the camera and go around hunting for shots of things. As well as with drawings I'll post my photos on deviantART.
