This page is here to showcase whatever musical endevours I have undertaken. Such ventures include for example composing music for movies and games, composing music for my own bands/projects and recording and producing both said own compositions and the material of friends' bands and such.
My own musical projects arc to many years ago from writing simple MIDI tunes through sampler work to recording and mixing live instruments and vocals myself, and I am not at the end of the arc yet. More to learn remains both in all of the areas I've touched already, as well as beyond -- in recording, mixing and mastering more live instruments, getting to know a wider range of equipment and techniques and generally producing music.
For a few years I have been primarily (but not exclusively) responsible of providing the music for Serpent Pictures (Serpent Pictures is a Nastola, Finland based indie movie group)' movies.
In addition to the few already real bands or projects I am involved in I have a number of band projects at varying states of their birth arcs, each waiting to one day surface with some sort of a line-up.

Pabstrum is a Tampere, Finland based prog rock band still in it's early stages. The band is masterminded by Aapeli "Pablo" Kutila. I play electric guitar and am responsible for the recording, mixing and mastering of the demo material of the band.
For about as long as I've had any sense for writing music I have had a project dubbed With a Vengeance I Descend going, which basically is a vaguely lined bin for everything I have written but don't have any proper use for. So far all of this project's material has been completely sampler produced instrumental pieces.
Most of the project's material is available at Mikseri.net (you might need to change the language to English from the top right of the page).
My flatmate coined the name "Studio Appelsi" for my humble little lo-fi home studio. Though currently we are very limited on equipment and technical knowhow, I do intending on acquiring more equipment, both of higher quality and wider variety, but for now what I have has been sufficient for recording vocals, acoustic and electric guitar and to some extent bass. Some of the equipment belongs to my flatmate so he is considered a major stock holder on the enterprise.
Currently the studio equipment consist of an EMU 0202 audio interface and an AKG D5 dynamic mircophone as the hardware, Cakewalk Sonar for recording and mixing and Propellerhead Reason for synths. We have two electric, two acoustic guitars and three Roland amplifiers (Cube 30X, Cube 20X and Micro Cube) at hand. Carried us nicely this far, recording Pabstrum material aswell as parts of other proejcts' songs thus far.
